It has been many years since I had a solid lifter engine and I found that adjusting valves on a modern Corvette installed solid roller cam engine was not as easy as I remember on my old 1969 Z28 Camaro 302 . I read many other articals on the subject and actually compared results . I feel that Cobalt327's solution of using cold engine lash numbers is the only correct way of adjusting lash on a all aluminum LS engine. I also can not see how it would be posable to adjust the lash hot and come out with the same results on the 16th valve as you did on the 1st valve adjusted. C6RAPTOR
