Editing Small block chevy overheating has 160 thermstat

I have a small block chevy engine in a 1956 belair it is overheating all the time, I have put a new aluminum rad with the biggest electric fan I can put on it I have flushed the block put a 160 thermostat in it checked the timing, what else can I do.
