Editing I had a 383 stroker built,,and i can not time it any more than 4 or five degrees with out getting a bad spark knock,,,sounds like the valve train is going to come out of it,,need help,,

I have a 383 stroker and i can't put any more than 4 or 5 degrees timing in it with out a bad spark knock coming into it when its under power between 1500 and 3000 rpm,,,
