(Reuters) - A suburban Chicago Hyatt Regency Hotel was evacuated early on Sunday right after someone intentionally prompted a chlorine gas leak that sent 19 men and women to the medical center with dizziness, nausea and other symptoms, authorities explained.<br>Firefighters responded to a report of noxious odors on the 9th floor of the twelve-story hotel in Rosemont, Illinois, close to O'Hare Worldwide Airport at about twelve:40 a.m., the Rosemont Public Safety Section mentioned in a well prepared assertion.<br>Technicians identified the supply of the odor to be chlorine on a 9th floor stairwell that was unveiled in what appeared to be an intentional manner, the statement reported. The incident remains under investigation.<br>Guests were evacuated from the one,100-room hotel to the close by conference center as experts decontaminated and ventilated the location and done exams. The resort was later identified risk-free and men and women had been allowed again in at about 4:thirty a.m. nearby time.<br>The incident took place as the resort hosted a conference of Midwest FurFest, a team that honors and promotes animal characters viewed in comics, tv and movies.
