(Reuters) - A suburban Chicago Hyatt Regency Resort was evacuated early on Sunday right after another person intentionally caused a chlorine gas leak that despatched 19 individuals to the clinic with dizziness, nausea and other signs or symptoms, authorities said.<br>Firefighters responded to a report of noxious odors on the ninth flooring of the 12-tale resort in Rosemont, Illinois, near O'Hare International Airport at about twelve:40 a.m., the Rosemont Public Security Office claimed in a ready assertion.<br>Technicians found the source of the odor to be chlorine on a ninth flooring stairwell that was introduced in what appeared to be an intentional method, the assertion said. The incident remains less than investigation.<br>Guests ended up evacuated from the 1,100-place hotel to the close by convention middle as professionals decontaminated and ventilated the region and carried out assessments. The hotel was afterwards established secure and people today were permitted back in at about four:30 a.m. regional time.<br>The incident occurred as the resort hosted a conference of Midwest FurFest, a team that honors and encourages animal characters witnessed in comics, tv and movies.
