==Procedure==
#Frame in your air compressor with 2x4 construction in a permanent location.
#Cover interior walls with peg board or wire mesh.
#Cover all sides with foam over the peg board (example: 1-inch thick foam).
#Cover all exterior walls with peg board so you can hang your tools on outside.
#Place rubber mat on floor for the compressor to sit on to cut down on vibration.
#Make yours with a door in the front for access.

==Alternatives==
Build a lean-to addition on to your shop, and just pass the electrical and air cables through the wall. In summer, you can open two opposing windows and let the breeze cool the compressor. In colder weather, you can keep the windows closed, or open them slightly for ventilation.
