Crosley: You edited my comment to read: <blockquote>'''NOTE 2: ALL V8 style Lockup transmissions have an input shaft with a polished tip and rubber O ring at the front end of this shaft. This does not apply to the S-10 small design bell housing for 60 degree V6 engine'''</blockquote> I have NEVER seen a 350 with an S-10 bell housing and I have owned probably in excess of 20,000 TH350s in my life. Are you sure you are not mixing this up with the TH700-R4 transmission which DID have variations with the S10 bell housing? If you have an example of an S10 TH350, could you please post a picture for the edification of everyone who reads the article? Based on my experience, I think the note should read: <blockquote>'''NOTE 2: ALL lockup transmissions have an input shaft with a polished tip and rubber O-ring at the front end of this shaft.'''</blockquote> This is still an improvement over my original rendering. mmerlinn
