Ive used Por 15 products for a while. I dont know how they will hold up after years of use. I do know that the chassis on my 1948 ford coupe is coated with Por 15, it has really dulled out. The people that sell Por 15 will also sell you a primer (light blue 1 stage primer) that is supposed to allow adhesion of another Por 15 product called "Hard Nose" paint. The primer will NOT allow you to fine sand; it gums up. So after trying for the last 3 weeks to remove the primer, I've decided to reprime with a 2 part primer on some test panels (over Por 15). I will let you all know the results. I've placed the panels in seawater, I will leave them for at least 2 months.--[[207.69.138.10|Boatbob]]2@earthlink.net 14:00, December 2, 2006
