The vast majority of people will eventually think about whether they're able to earn income online. Unfortunately, the lure of MLM pulls far too many people in, only for them to learn that they're not making any money and they end up believing that making money online must be a scam. Multi Level Marketing relies on you trying to bring new people into your downline so they can promote the same program as you in order for you to earn a commission from any work they've done. This is a deeply flawed business model, yet the clever wording and slick advertising MLM companies use make it seem like the best opportunity available anywhere in the world. Before you fall for the lure of a scheme such as this, think about the following points. Many people have been told that the business model for MLM is one of the best out there, a definite moneymaker that has no equal. This is not true at all. The truth is that less than one percent of people who take on MLM actually earn a profit. It is actually a lot easier to simply start your own business and sell your own products or services. What most people do not understand is that MLM is "shaky", an unreliable business model that has a lot of problems. One good book keeping error and the whole system falls apart. Perhaps the main reason so many beginners fall for MLM is that the sales pitch always makes it sound so simple. Just about every MLM program is going to tell you how easy it is to earn a ton of money. Yet, succeeding with MLM really does take a lot of work and patience. There might even be *more* work involved because so many people have gotten clued in to the fact that this is a business model that might not be on the up and up. It's not easy to encourage people to join up under you if they already don't trust MLM. A common myth often perpetuated by those in MLM is that the products that they sell will soon be sold in retail stores after they have been sold through multilevel marketing. To make a profit, the only way that most MLM companies can make money is to convince people in their company to buy their products wholesale, and sell them to other people. It is incredibly rare that any sort of retail establishment will want to buy the product - even when an MLMer takes them in to sell on consignment. When it comes to MLM, there are plenty of myths circling around. Most of these misconceptions were created for the purpose of making people see multi level marketing as a wonderful tool for earning an online income. This is because the plan is to hook you and not let you go. Do not believe what is said. What we've mentioned here is just the beginning. If you take the time to do some further digging, you will discover tons of reasons why you should ignore multi level marketing.
