Note1Sign2 ==Article categories== Reformatted to an alphabetical list. If this is deemed to be less "user friendly" than having the categories listed in a sentence as before, it can be easily undone. Ideally the list would be broken up into several columns instead of one long column; I believe Jon is looking into this.--Cobalt327 18:22, 2 March 2012 (MST) :We should get some nice looking images on this page, towards the top, so the user doesn't have to scroll to see them.--Jon 19:42, 3 March 2012 (MST) ::OK, I'll see what I can come up with, as well as anyone else who may have something in mind.--Cobalt327 11:25, 4 March 2012 (MST) :::I've added four images, linked to their respective articles with an alt text when hovered over. The images are formatted to fit my browser, but there's the possibility they may be too wide for other browser settings. So my question is, is there a default width I should be using that will be acceptable to a majority of users? :::These particular images were chosen for their diversity and hopefully wide recognition, but I'm not sure I'm liking the rail chassis- the detail is somewhat lost in the smaller size it's now in compared to the original, so I will probably be changing it. Obviously if there are other photos that would be better, these can be changed or others added.--Cobalt327 11:53, 5 March 2012 (MST) ::::: Still prefer old format, dont like the boxes. Crosley 07:15, 19 March 2012 (MDT) ==Img_alt vs tooltip== What are the difference in what they do? After briefly reading up on this, it's unclear to me what the difference is- I use the img_alt to get the image caption when hovering the cursor over the image, and it seemed from the info I read that the tooltip entry would do basically the same thing. I notice (with my browser, at least) that I can leave the tooltip line empty and the img_alt text will appear when hovering. So is there any reason to use the tooltip also?--Cobalt327 12:04, 5 March 2012 (MST) :Yes, they basically do the same thing. Technically the img_alt tag is supposed to be used as an alternative to seeing the image, like for vision-impaired users using a screen reader. And the tooltip is supposed to provide additional information about an element, for any type of user. Functionally they can be very similar, especially with how different browsers choose to interpret them differently.--Jon 10:43, 6 March 2012 (MST) ==Main page images== The photos added to the main page was at Jon's request. See his comments above, made 19:42, 3 March 2012 (MST).--Cobalt327 17:30, 28 March 2012 (MDT) ==Main page format== Allows the "Crankshaft Coalition Wiki" title to be seen along with the intro, the links to good/need work, etc. articles, the images, and the Article categories title all to be seen w/o scrolling. No need to delete any content- this was done simply by tightening up the spacing and a single size font change.--Cobalt327 17:51, 28 March 2012 (MDT) == Fight your obesity with simplicity! == Raspberry Trimlink title is an effective weight loss supplement which claims to fight the growing rate of obesity.
