Editing Cam for 1993 trans am

hey guys, i am 18(and uneducated when it comes to cars), and i've had a 93 Trans Am for about 2 years now, i decided that i either need to build it up or i need to sell it. I've talked to a few people and i think that i need a cam, I want performance, without paying for it in gas. I know that i will have to sacrafice some but, not to extreme. Some tell me cam, supercharger, bigger engine, or get a new rear end. I need help guys, i dont have a lot of cash. so i need to know what to do. Specs: 93 Trans Am 350 LT1 Engine (102K mi.) 5.7 V8
