If you are serious about good food, there's a couple of restaurants in Lexington South Carolina you just have to try. The other restaurant I want to recommend is as country as they come, but you will not find better food anywhere on the planet. The first Lexington restaurant I'm referring to is Private Property South Carolina, yep, that's what it's called Private Property South Carolina. Truth be told, if I was facing the electric chair and got a chance to get the final meal I would certainly ever enjoy in my life, I would definitely want it to come from any of these two dining establishments. I do not believe you could get a greater recommendation than that. As a matter of fact, I 'd order the Louisiana Gator Burger out of Private Property South Carolina along with a treble order of their spud salad. I love their spud salad. Otherwise, I would certainly order the fried catfish from The Farmer's Shed along with a heaping side dish of Mac and Cheese. The Farmer's Shed has set up an entire all new level of comfort food. Their Mac and Cheese is like the planet's most potent chill pill. It is truly downright therapeutic. The cuisine at The Farmer's Shed is literally that fantastic. I mean it's stick to your ribs down home country put a smile on your face kind of good. The Farmer's Shed is in fact a part of a large farm that was started in 1947 by Armand and Roselyn Sease. The Sease household is a fundamental part of the Lexington town to now. Eating at The Farmer's Shed seems like eating at your granny's, in case your granny can cook country style. You'll see them at 2514 Augusta Highway just past the high school. Or call them at: 803-996-0700 Now let me tell you about Private Property South Carolina. To my dirt poor bare foot sensibilities, Private Property South Carolina feels a bit yuppie-ish, kind of, sort of college grad khaki and button down. Private Property is a locally owned restaurant that serves southern food with an out of this world gourmet Cajun twist. Imagine the very best of South Carolina delicacies along with a concrete Cajun influence, such as a Chef Paul Prudhomme kitchen although having the magic of South Carolina and you'll get a sense of the joyful ambiance of Private Property South Carolina. Private Property offers a basic Cajun and Country bill of fare. They grind their very own hamburger fresh daily from Choice Brisket and Chuck. Their sausages are literally authentic Creole sausages shipped straight from New Orleans. In other words, if they wouldn't offer it to relatives, they will never serve it in their diner. Here's a glance of the Private Property South Carolina menu: Barbeque Pulled Pork Nachos, Creole Country Sausage Sampler, Louisiana Gator Burger, Jambalaya, Pecan Pralines and Louisiana Mud Pie. People can easily spot Private Property South Carolina in downtown Lexington over at 220 W Main Street. Or perhaps give them a ring at: 803-399-8085. Ok, there you have it, two darn fine eating places in Lexington SC, not to be confused with any kinda Lexington any place else. People just cannot go wrong with either Private Property South Carolina or The Farmer's Shed. Head to The Farmer's Shed and bliss out on home cooking of the highest possible order, or maybe put your khakis on and head over to Private Property South Carolina and experience the finest of Cajun Carolina Delicacies. Two of the best restaurants in Lexington with food so good you'll brag about it.
