Editing Power windows with wire eliminators in the jams

I have been struggling with sluggish power windows on the passenger side. The problem is I used wire eliminators in the door jams which causes a voltage drop under load. This solution allowed me to keep the eliminators. 1. supply a separate ground through an empty port in the eliminator on the pass door 2. add two relays in the pass door 3. change the red wire to the pass door to be directly from the ignition, through the existing port in the eliminator (Not always necessary) The attached diagram details the relay setup. [[file:Power_window_wiring.jpg]] Details: The stock wiring with eliminators has the power and ground going into the drivers door through one eliminator. The passenger switch in the drivers door then passes the power and ground back through the drivers side eliminator and through the passenger eliminator into the passenger door. The window operation basically takes power and ground from the drivers side passenger switch and applies it to the passenger window motor. The polarity is flipped to reverse the direction of the motor. The issue is that by the time the power has been passed through three eliminators there is a significant voltage drop. The three steps above make it so the power and ground only pass through one eliminator and makes the difference between functional and not. [[Category:Electrical]]
