(Interviewer) Q: Nicholas, can you tell us about your career to date?
(Nicolas) A: I qualified as a chiropodist several years ago and received my registration from the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) and my membership of the Society of Chiropodist and Podiatrist (MChs). Q: How do you diagnose what the problem with a patient's feet is?
A: Some foot conditions I will diagnose largely through careful visual analysis and tactile manual testing of the affected area. For example with a verruca, this is generally straightforward. Q: Can you tell us about one of the treatments your clinic offers? 
A: Dry needling is a technique I use to remove verrucae. The patient receives a local anaesthetic, and I then use a needle to treat the verruca. Most people report only minor soreness for a few days, similar to a bruise.
