When you are going to spray bed liner material, mask everything you dont want to spray. *If you are using a 1 gallon can, stir material then punch a hole in center of can lid big enough to take the size hose you are using. *Insert hose into can, about 1/2 inch from bottom then make a small vent hole also in lid. *Put lid back on can tightly, taping with duct tape. *After you finish spraying, to clean gun and hose, put finger over outlet of gun, pull trigger. That will put the excess material back into the can. *Then using a 1 gallon plastic milk jug, put about 1/4 gallon of acetone or lacquer thinner in jug, put hose in jug, and spray. Then finger on outlet, then spray again. Do this about 4 or 5 times. *Now the acetone in the jug will be dirty. Change to clean acetone or lacquer thinner and repeate the cleaning operation (change acetone or thinner as needed) until you only get clean material being discharged. *Wear a mask and throw away clothes...
