Why the name Rickracer? Back in the day, when I was street racing a lot, I was nicknamed and known by one of two names, either "Vega Rick" or "Rickracer". Known, because any and every weekend any of our crowd could count on seeing my Vega blasting down our little private 1/4 mile for a few $$, against just about any comers. Eventually, every one gravitated to Rickracer, because I also built a few cars, motors, and/or power trains for other folks, did performance tuning and installations, gears, posis, chassis work, all kinds of welding and fabrication, and even drove for a few folks if there was money on the line. I also sold and installed nitrous and nitrous systems. For a while, I was the only place in Kissimmee/St. Cloud that you could get a nitrous bottle filled at 2AM, IF you knew the right people to talk to, ;-)
