Many people are now recognizing the threat that the Streetbeasts lawsuit poses to free speech in online automotive communities. Hotrodders.com members, visitors from other automotive websites, and industry businesses have banded together to donate money and auction off parts to help defend against the lawsuit. Special thanks this month go to Progressive Automotive, who have donated a $1,200 Mustang II IFS kit to auction off to cover legal costs. As of this writing, the current high bid is $600, and the winner receives his choice of a variety of Mustang II IFS kits.
