I do not want to cut the frame, lower the car, or have overly quick steering. I am trying to have a fairly good driver, maintain the outward appearance of a survivor.--[[User:76.97.43.134|76.97.43.134]] 11:31, 24 July 2011 | I do not want to cut the frame, lower the car, or have overly quick steering. + | great stuff but this will only work on 37 to 39 cars after you drill new mounting holes for the lower a arms. the 58 arms are 2ins. shorter than the early cars just make sure you line up the spring pocket in the arm with the one in the frame everything else works. the better set up is to use the ccp spindles and brake kit worth the money | ||

+ | when trying to use this set up on a 39 buick i found that the lower arms are 2in. short not a major problem just move the arm out and drill new holes. just make sure that you center the lower spring pocket in the spring hole of the orginal frame. found out after all work was done that 61 olds lower arms are 2in longer but hard to find--[[user108.16.235.191|108.16.235.191]] 16:46, November 27, 2012 |
