We used to run into this problem all the time.Seems everyone had their own way of trying to remove them .I can name a few of the ways we used to do it and hope for the best.You can try applying heat to the lock and hope that you don't burn or tarnish anything chrome.this expands the lug on the locked stud.

You can try putting a chisal to the lock near the outer edge and taps with a hammer and hope that it may start to turn.

Iv'e seen guys try to put vise grips or something that will grip onto the lock and either try to turn it or use an up and down motion to try to strecth the lug thus loosening the lock.

What ever way that you can try to remove it without a code or key for it,your probably going to have to replace the stud.
