There are Many ways to post pictures on a forum.

Each forum has its own formats .

So for this I will use [http://www.hotrodders.com]Hotrodders.com as my platform.

Most typically you will need a Digital Camera.

You will need to Download your Picture files to your computer.

From this point on I will use the term  "PIXS" for pictures.

Basically you can make Small & Big pixs .

1.SMALL PIXS

To make small pixs at the bottom that when you click on them they will get larger.

After clicking on the Post Reply button .

Scroll down until you see a button marked

MANAGE ATTACHMENTS clicking on it will produce a UPLOAD POP UP WINDOW with 5 BROWSE BUTTONS.

Click A BROWSE BUTTON & it will take you to My DOCUMENTS or MY PICTURES depending on where you pixs files are.

Search around until you find the pixs you wish to upload ,then click on the pix you want .

Then when you click on it it will disappear & bring you back to the BROWSE BUTTON.

Repeat until you have chosen the pixs you wish to upload.

''On HR.com you can upload a Maximum of 5.''

Then Click on the UPLOAD BUTTON.

This may take some time depending on you computers speed & your ISP.

hen Click on one of two CLOSE THIS WINDOW BUTTONS

If you get a RED MESSAGE @ the top of the UPLOAD POP UP WINDOW, Most of the time it will tell you the pix is too large & must be Resizes down.

Be considerate some of the people who frequent the forum still have Slow ISP's ,Dial up even.

With the slow ISP viewing a large Pix takes a long time & will slow down considerably how long it takes for that person to open a thread.

After the download to your Computer you will need to make sure the pix is now bigger then 680 X 420.

It will not upload unless it is this size or smaller.

If you use Windows there is a FREE picture re-sizer.

from Microsoft. Click this link to take you there.
