:That said, I believe the code "BX" indicates a 3.08:1 ratio differential/ring gear and pinion was originally installed. What you need is a differential that's a 4-series, or you'll need to use a spacer made so the 4-series gears will work w/a 3-series differential. But the cast iron part the diff bolts into will work w/either the 3- or 4-series diff.[[User:Cobalt327|Cobalt327]]
