Thought I'd share lighting update for the 1960-66 Chevrolet trucks. I was wanting the amber hood markers to be on when the head lamps were. I think it adds a little character.

Simple fix. Remove the head light switch, remove '''purple''' wire from the plastic plug. (terminal #7) The '''purple''' wire runs to the low side of the 1157 bulbs in the hood markers. The switch is marked with numbers beside each terminal. There is an ''unused'' terminal on the switch and a provision for it in that same plastic plug. This is terminal #3.

Slide the purple into this terminal #3 spot making sure it clicks into place. This will enable the hood ambers markers to be on when the headlamps are. They will function properly when the turn signals are used also.

An extra measure of safety at least.
