Has anyone swapped a full frame for the original frame on 46-48 Chevys? It looks like a Chevrolet Caprice in the years 77-90 (same wheelbase, just a little difference in the tracking) would work but I haven't tried it, just want to know if anyone has and what problems you had. | Has anyone swapped a full frame for the original frame on 46-48 Chevys? + | The Caprice may be a little too wide and look awkward on the far-narrower early Stovebolt. A better match may be had with the frame from a G-body GM, like the '78-'86 Monte Carlo, Cutlass Supreme, El Camino, etc. |
