=Page's original author versus who’s listed on the “By” line=

There’s a misconception among a few that the  names listed on a page’s  “By” line represents the original author of a page. This is not always the case. An example is, if an article is deleted from a section then replaced into a new section, the name of who resubmitted it will be the only name shown. Also if so much as a period is added to a page, the person who added the period will now be listed on the “By” line, just as if they had originated the page. This is how this wiki is set up and until it is changed- which I have requested- this will continue to be the case.
