If it's a gallery (like [http://www.hotrodders.com/scratch-built/Body:_A_Gallery_of_Scratch-Built_Cars this page]), then thumbnails. If "fullsize" is huge, you can always "thumbnail" them to a large size; you can play around with the sizing to see what you like best for a specific article.
