there are several ways to go about painting a car. generally you would wnat to fix your dents first using plastic filler finishing them to a 180 scratch. then prime your body work, andif the car needs it a coat over the whole car. make sure that the car is appropriately sanded, paint is all in the prep. after blocking your primer with 320, take your sanding scratches your with 400 grit paper. Now for the painting. You would now want to seal the car. sealer keeps your body work seprate from your paint. and helps it to last longer. Now applying the paint try to spray even coats with 50% overlaps. Watch what your doing and dont be afraid to make a mistake. cut and buff after finsihed
